BBC - MICE Independent Award Winner
Baikal Business Center (owned by "Grand Baikal" company) was awarded Russian Business Travel & MICE Award 2011for the second time. The winners were selected on the basis of open voting on the website of the award and expert council decision. The award ceremony was held in Moscow on September 20.
The main business center of Irkutsk has won the "Best Regional Congress Centre" nomination.
As the awards organizers inform, the nomination for the award lasted since April to July; more than 180 applications were accepted while this period.
Participants claimed the victory in 22 categories (best 3 * 4 * and 5 *congress hotel in Moscow and regional capitals, the best congress centers, business travel agencies and airlines).
Public vote on the award website was over in early September. About 50,000 votes were cast for the nominees.
We'd like to remind that the advisory council awarded Baikal Business Center in the "Most Dynamic Congress Center" nomination last year. For the second year in a row, BBC is the sole representative of the travel industry of the Baikal region that has become the award's winner.
